Work in Progress Wednesday

 

Aw, a finish!  This scroll didn't need much to be called done.  I added some pearls and now it feels complete.  This scroll is perfectly pastel and romantic with the silk ribbon embroidery, buttons and loads of lace.  

I have a few more scrolls on the go but I do feel my stitched mandalas calling to me.  We will see what I pick up next.  I have been playing a lot in my journals too.  I have so many wonderful creative pursuits!  The fun never ends!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
