Slow Stitching Sunday


 I have started another wool mandala.  The wool I am using is from recycled blankets I have cut up.  I do love a good reclaim!  I washed the blankets to felt them.  This one did not knit together very tightly.  Some of my stitches are pulling through.   :(  I may need to use some thicker threads on this one.  It will be fun to go through my stash and find some chunky threads!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
