Slow Stitching Sunday

I am enjoying working on this piece so much.  I still need to stitch on some of the circles and get rid of those nasty pins.  This piece is intentionally not square.  Straight lines are not overly interesting.  The pieced straight lines will eventually be obliterated by stitch.  I am excited to do some beading on this piece but that must wait until nearer the finish.

I have incorporated some interesting papers into this piece.  It has been a long time since I have paper to piece and I am enjoying it.  I may look through my stash of speciality papers to add a bit more.  A few more circles couldn't hurt.

  1. I can just imagine how pretty this is going to be with all those circles, papers, beads and pretty stitching.

  2. The circles are fun in this piece! I have a hard time getting away from straight lines in any of my quilting or stitching. I think that's just how my brain works, lol! I admire your beautiful pieces that flow so differently!

  3. If you add paper, you do not intend to ever wash this piece, do you?
