Mandala Monday


 This mandala is wonky and imperfect and I still love it.  Using only blue ink was unusual for me but I find it striking.  I put this one in my Zentangle sketchbook that I started so many years ago.  It is a large sketch book so filling a page takes a LONG time.  Plus, I go through periods of enjoying it and times I completely forget about it.  

There are only a few pages left in that sketchbook.  It will be time to start a new one.  I believe I will look for a smaller one to use next time.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
