Slow Stitching Sunday


 This little scroll was such a joy to create.  It is about two inches wide and three feet long.  I have an old wooden spool that I will attach it to.  I am not certain how to attach it.  Maybe just glue?

I have quite a collection of these scrolls now.  What will I do with them?  For now, they are rolled up and gathered into a basket.  That doesn't seem the best place for them but I don't have any other ideas at the moment.

I like the colors of this scroll. I might display them hanging from a rod of some type. Like a wooden curtain rod. They would make a nice wall art display.

Your finished scroll is filled with pretty details. I would add a little glue at the beginning to attach it to the wooden spool. A basket filled with your lovely scrolls sounds like a lovely way to display them.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
