Slow Stitching Sunday

 

My sampler wedge for October is coming along nicely.  Well, the whole piece is!  I am so pleased with it. I made a mistake while doing one of the stitches so it is a repeat.  I am surprised it took me this long to do that!  I won't stress about it.

This has been an enjoyable project.  I picture it hanging in my studio for years to come.  A lovely reminder of stitches to use on further projects.

    Your Sampler Wedge is coming along very nicely indeed. I don't think anyone would notice the stitch repeat....not that it matters, of course. =)

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
