Work in Progress Wednesday

 

I have added a couple more paper circles to this piece.  My niece shared some very interesting textured papers with me so I used a couple in this piece.  I was so tempted to order some more of the papers she shared.  They are so cool!  In the lower right, the blue paper with round holes isn't super noticeable but I love it.  

I was good and didn't order more paper.  I have gone through my stash and found that I already have a LOT of interesting.  I will enjoy using it and save the money for a different art supply!

    I like how this is growing. It is always worth checking one's supplies before going shopping. I often find a lot of hidden treasures in my stash.

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I am on a scroll roll.  This is the second one I started this week.  I love the soft romantic feel of these pieces.  I love working with bright and cheerful colours but occasionally I have to play with a different set of colours.   These scrolls are coming together faster than I thought they would.  That also feels good.   Sometimes I need a project that can be completed quickly.
