Slow Stitching Sunday

Another wool mandala is finished!  I only have two more to do and then will assess them all together.  It is fun for me to play within a circle.  The possibilities are unlimited.  I love the word unlimited!

I was going through my button box for another project and decided buttons would work well on this mandala.  Then of course beads were also needed.  Originally I thought I would only do embroidery on these mandalas but I changed my mind.  I do that all the time.

The centre part of this mandala is just a bit wonky.  It wouldn't be hard to fix but will I?  Hmm

  1. I love your wool mandala! It’s so pretty! Your design is cheerful and lovely! The center adds a bit of fun. I hadn’t even noticed until I read about it. Perfection is overrated, in my humble opinion. 😊

  2. I love this mandala, Angela! The red background really drew me to it, but then I saw the pretty vine with flowers on it, too. The buttons are a great touch!

  3. It's unusual to see this colour, isn't it? My image of your work is that it usually features cooler tones with aqua, teal, turquoise ... and then the purple hues on the spectrum.
