I Like

as a youngster or teen,  did you get a new dress, hat  or shoes for 
Easter?  go to church or have big family gatherings? Do you mark the
holiday now in some way?

No, my family didn't do any of those things for Easter.  At least not by the time I came along.  I must ask my sister if she remembers doing any of that.  We don't do much for Easter but we do buy the grandkids a little something and have them hunt for it.  They love the hunt.

Pictured above is my first cute little granddaughter, taken seven years ago!  I had seen that cute little coat at a store in St. Jacobs.  St. Jacobs is a cute little town with cute little shops not far from here.  I didn't buy it at the time I saw it.  I planned to go back.  The day I drove back, I stopped at a thrift store and found the coat with the tags still on it!  Of course, I snapped it up!  I wonder if they still have it.  Her little sister might fit it right now.
