Last week I posted about this mandala.  Then immediately set to whitewashing it to tame it down.  After which, a lovely friend told me what she saw in my wild mandala.  I regretted whitewashing it instantly!  However, I do have a photo of it in that state.  I thought it made sense to have a photo of it in this state as well.  My plan is to make it wild again.

I also plan to print photos of it in each state and print the comment from my friend.  I will put it all together on a journal page.  Stay tuned for the new wild version.  After all, we all need a bit of wild in our lives!

    Whitewashing it has changed it, but not necessarily for the worse. You have obviously moved the brush in a circular movement, and thereby set the pink globe and its many cogs as well as all the black splashes spinning.

    I think it is a great idea to take photos of the several stages in which a piece of art is created. I am looking forward to this with great anticipation.
