Slow Stitching Sunday

I started stitching this fish a few weeks ago.  My granddaughter wanted to make one, so we stitched together.  It is a delight to teach her!  She is so keen to learn.

I was thinking that this little fish was finished.  However, just now I am noticing that the tail is a bit small for the size of the fish.  Why am I just noticing this now?  The tail is the most fun for me, so I will see what I can do to make it better.  It won't take long to stitch in some more fluffy goodness!

  4. You will have a little more fun making your beautiful fish just right. How fun to pass your embellishing skills on to your granddaughter. Very special, indeed.

  5. The tail is great, though maybe a bit short, and the scales made of buttons and sequins are fun, too.
