LeeAnna has asked
did you ever wear gogo boots? Platform shoes? Earth shoes?

bonus for sharing a photo!

a bonus question, what would you like for mothers day if price were no
object  (dream big)

I don't remember ever wearing gogo boots.  I did have a pair of white rubber boots, does that count?  Yes, I wore platform shoes and yes I work earth shoes.  Sorry, no photos!  I still have some platform shoes as they are popular again.  I love a good shoe!  I love when they are pretty and comfortable.  Definitely leaning more towards the comfortable shoe these days.  I used to manage a shoe store and would 12 hours shifts in heels!  I am a super woman!  Or was!

Dream big for Mother's Day!  I would love for the whole family to go on a cruise together.  That would be so fun!  And since I am dreaming big I would want it to be to Asia.  There are so many interesting countries there that I would love to see!

I have been enjoying the free Mastering Mixed Media workshops this week.  It is so fun to get out all the supplies and play.  My hands are an inky mess!  That is a good sign of time spent creatively!  My journal page is so full of colour.  I can see ways to improve it.  I am not sure whether or not I will.  It needs help so I probably will!

I had some errands to run earlier this week.  While pondering my route, I thought of Rockway Garden and decided to drive past it.  The tulips, daffodils and hyacinths were glorious.  I love a beautiful spring garden.  I always try to plan my routes to go by pretty.  I don't care if it takes longer.

  1. Our choice of footwear changes with age, doesn't it? I, too, opt for comfy shoes with width and a cushioned sole, although I would like to wear elegant and stylish leather shoes with a heel instead.
However, the latter type of shoes would give me a pained facial expression. To be able to show a happy face, I accept I need to wear less attractive but comfortable things on my feet.

I am glad to hear you had a wonderful time making your hands inky!

  2. That is such a pretty drawing in your top photo, Angela! Is that from the workshop you're taking? I love it! And 12 hour shifts in heels - wow!
