Slow Stitching Sunday

I have felt the need to play with very bright and vibrant colours of late.  This mandala I made a few years ago but it was calling to me again.  I have been loading it up with stitches to add texture.  I realize these brights aren't everyone's taste.  Since I am making it for me, I am not about to worry about what other people like or don't like.  Playing in this field of colour makes me happy!

  1. We make our projects to make ourselves happy. This is not about making others happy. Great bright colour scheme. Gail at the cozy quilter

  4. Playing with bright fabrics makes me happy, too. And, if there are colourful stitches and embellishments added, all the better.

  5. The best results are usually obtained when we work on the spur of the moment. When we feel like playing around with bright colours, we are confident, we enjoy the process, we find the right way, and the result is usually stunning. Then comes a time when we need soft or dull colours to reach the best of our ability.
    Enjoy the process!
