Slow Stitching Sunday

Scrolls of slow stitching are a delight to create!  This one is inching closer to being finished.  I have been stitching on some white beads.  My intention is to use up the small package of assorted white beads.  I made one pass of the whole length of the scroll using the largest beads.  Now I am making another pass to use up the smaller beads.

The white beads are a bit hard to see in this photo.  Still, I think they work well on this scroll.  I have had the package of beads for many years.  It feels good to finally have the right place for them!

I will take this project outside today.  I believe I will get it finished today.  I am always excited to start another scroll.  So many ideas!

  3. Is your design on the scroll made with yarn you've stitched down or with stitching the curved lines, Angela? I'm fascinated with scroll-making and keep thinking I'll start one myself. Just have to figure out where to start!
