Mandala Monday


 Lots of shimmer on this mandala!  Shimmer always makes me happy.  Of course, you can have too much shimmer so I try to control myself.

    You have no need to control yourself when it comes to adding shimmer to your Mandalas!

Slow Stitching Sunday

  I have felt the need to play with very bright and vibrant colours of late.  This mandala I made a few years ago but it was calling to me again.  I have been loading it up with stitches to add texture.  I realize these brights aren't everyone's taste.  Since I am making it for me, I am not about to worry about what other people like or don't like.  Playing in this field of colour makes me happy!  I have created more flowers.  These ones don't feel quite up to snuff.  I may put them back in the pile to work on further.  I think more stitching is needed on some of them.   We did our big Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, so today will be quiet.  I will enjoy some stitching time and some leftover turkey!
