Princess Bubbles Creates

Beading on another of my rust and pealing paint photos.  The texture is so amazing in these images.  I attached a piece of tumbled glass and some glass bead chips.  I pondered adding more beads to the right side of this image but decided against that.  I am still debating whether or not I should add some beads to the top of the tumbled glass piece.  What do you think?

I have to say this isn't my favorite stitch.  It definitely has its place though.  Still not one that I naturally tend towards using.  The simple heart I created works here I think.

I find the best bargains!  It seems to be a gift.  Maybe my husband wouldn't agree on that one though!  giggles  Last week I went shopping on Ottawa Street in Hamilton, Ontario.  I shopped there 26 years ago for the fabric for my wedding dress!  I also shopped there five years ago with my niece looking for her wedding dress fabric.  Very fond memories.  Well I happened upon a store that was closing up shop.  It was rather dumpy looking so I was a tad hesitant to go into it.  But I am a fearless bargain hunter and since the store was closing who knew what I would find.  Happily, I found silk chiffon for $3 a yard.  How could I resist?  The colors aren't typical of what I use but they are still useful.  I have long wanted to experiment with silk chiffon so now I have some with which to play!  What would you do with it?

So that is all of it.  What do you think?  I thought it was a fun idea.  It worked up fairly quickly as far as altered books go.  It took a few weeks but I have books that I have been working on for over five years!

I'm wondering if these pages with the interference paint are a bit boring and could use more color.  What do you think? 

I am pleased that some of the shine and glitter shows up in these images!
