Princess Bubbles Creates

This is hand painted silk.  I adhered it to fusible interfacing, machine stitched it and then cut out the holes.  Each hole is bead encrusted around the edge.  I am wondering if I should add some more bead circles or some hand embroidery?  hmmm I am linking with http://ninamariesayre.blogspot.ca/# http://www.supermomnocape.com/

Starting on my July CQ project a little late.  Oh well, not the end of the world.  I am excited to be trying something new and different for this month.  I am incorporating a bead journal from a couple of years back.  That in itself isn't new.  The fact that the bead journal was done on a paper is the new bit. This is my crazy quilt block for June.  Yikes!  I better get moving!  I was thinking it was my July block but I guess I lost a month somehow.  I can't be too hard on myself though.  I have a son getting married tomorrow so there has been a lot of preparations for that.  Once we have finished celebrating I will add some more stitching to the needle felted area.  Hopefully it will looked finished to me at that point.
