Slow Stitching Sunday
At the beginning of the year, I decided I would do a stitched tree every month. The project sort of slipped away from me with others taking priority. While looking for my crochet hooks this week, I came across these stitched trees. I have created a number of them and they are perfect for this yearly project.
I plan to make a twelve page journal with a tree per page. The first few trees I have done are on silk. That will not be sturdy enough for the beaded tree on the left. I need to rethink things. I don't mind adapting an idea. It is good to change things up!

ReplyDeleteYour photo caught my eye at Kathy’s Quilts. Lovely trees!
ReplyDeleteYou have two beautiful trees there!
ReplyDeleteI can see your problem of weight for the different pages. I hope you come up with a solution.
