Slow Stitching Sunday

At the beginning of the year, I decided I would do a stitched tree every month.  The project sort of slipped away from me with others taking priority.  While looking for my crochet hooks this week, I came across these stitched trees.  I have created a number of them and they are perfect for this yearly project.

I plan to make a twelve page journal with a tree per page.  The first few trees I have done are on silk.  That will not be sturdy enough for the beaded tree on the left.  I need to rethink things.  I don't mind adapting an idea.  It is good to change things up!

  1. Aren't those pretty?! I had to enlarge your photo so I could look up close. So many treasures in those trees!

  3. You have two beautiful trees there!
I can see your problem of weight for the different pages. I hope you come up with a solution.
