Slow Stitching Sunday

I used fabric, thread and yarn scraps to create this tree.  It is kind of a hodgepodge but it works for me.  I used a pale thread to stitch it to the fabric base but now I am thinking a dark thread would be better.  Or possibly an outline of beads.  It needs something to give it more definition.

I will decide when I have all the trees done. I will have a better idea as to what is needed when I see them all together.

  3. I love how you created a tree out of a multiple of fibers! That’s creativity for sure!

  4. By using up small scraps and orts you have made a unique tree. I like it as it is. IF you want to darken the pale thread without removing it, you could whip it with a darker thread... It's a good idea to wait and see what, if anything, needs to be done.

  5. I really like this tree. If the colors are true in the photo, it makes me think of Autumn.
