Slow Stitching Sunday
I used fabric, thread and yarn scraps to create this tree. It is kind of a hodgepodge but it works for me. I used a pale thread to stitch it to the fabric base but now I am thinking a dark thread would be better. Or possibly an outline of beads. It needs something to give it more definition.
I will decide when I have all the trees done. I will have a better idea as to what is needed when I see them all together.

Your hodgepodge tree works for me, too. So fun.
ReplyDeleteI love all the fun scraps you put together for this tree! It makes me think of fall. Perhaps you're wishing for cooler weather?!
ReplyDeleteI love how you created a tree out of a multiple of fibers! That’s creativity for sure!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat project!
ReplyDeleteBy using up small scraps and orts you have made a unique tree. I like it as it is. IF you want to darken the pale thread without removing it, you could whip it with a darker thread... It's a good idea to wait and see what, if anything, needs to be done.

I really like this tree. If the colors are true in the photo, it makes me think of Autumn.
