Last weekend my sweet hubby and I managed to get away for a couple of days.  We popped over the border to the US so I had to stop at a Joanne's store.  Check out the pretty, delicate, sparkly fabric I found! Too fun!  It is always fun to find new things!

Really not much to show this week.  I did add this doily to this crazy quilt block though.  These are so not my usual colors.  I hope I can learn to work in this color way!

Another new stitch for me. I am such a novice!  I have been stitching for years but still have so much to learn!  I really like this stitch.  True to my nature I did it in a rather loose fashion.  I suppose I should try it again tightened up a bit.

March 9 Transfer prints We will be making prints with transfer paints and transfer crayons.  This yields a number of prints plus the paper printing plate is useful after all the prints have been created.  We will be working with paper and fabric in the workshop. Here is my February crazy quilt block.  It is almost the end of the month and I don't feel it is quite done yet.  Still needs a little something.  I guess I will be late with my block again.  Not good!

Well again Sharon at  http://pintangle.com/  has come up with another new stitch for me.  It combines the two obvious stitches which I have done previously so I wasn't too intimidated to try it.  I really like it!  I will definitely use this stitch again.
