Princess Bubbles Creates

Sharon B  shows us the Linked Chain stitch this week.  I know I have done it before but it felt like the first time.  Pretty sure I haven't used it since the last time Sharon showed us how to do it.  That happens a lot actually.  If I don't really love the stitch it gets forgotten about.  Sometimes that happens with the stitches that I really like too!

Oh my gosh I had fun creating this pop up page in my altered book.  My funky little flowers have been felted, stitched, burned and more.  Truly a mixed media page. I am linking with http://ninamariesayre.blogspot.ca/

I had fun with this one.  Even though I used colors that are not my favorite I still like the way it turned out.

Thankfully I have more than one camera as my batteries were not co-operating with me.  This isn't a bad capture considering I had to use my little old camera. I enjoy experimenting especially when I get pleasing results.  This piece I created the butterflies from some of my macro photographs.  I painted the background fabric.  I stitched the butterflies down with metallic threads.  Fun! I am linking with http://ninamariesayre.blogspot.ca/
